Challenge:

The University wanted to replace its paper student identification cards with a distinctive and sturdy plastic card. At the same time, it wanted to control the process and avoid the delay and expense of dealing with an outside supplier.

Product:

Result:

The card, issued before the start of each term, is printed in four colors and bears the student's name and photo, year of registration and major area of study. The card provides access to all of the University's facilities, provides proper identification if questioned by campus security, and can be used to obtain discounts with certain merchants in the vicinity.

The University gains the benefits of an in-house card-producing system that is quick, reliable and inexpensive. In addition, it has upgraded campus security by being assured that trespassers on University grounds or at facilities can easily be identified
